2. False Support Charges: These fake sites claim your router, range extender, or mesh system has "malware," "firewall breaches," or "outdated firmware."
3. Remote Access & Unsolicited Sales: Scammers induce users to pay exorbitant service fees or grant remote desktop access to install unnecessary firewall software and subscriptions.
● Free Support: WAVLINK NEVER charges fees for standard customer support, device setup, or firmware updates.
● No Remote Access Sales: WAVLINK representatives will never ask you to purchase third-party security software or demand remote access to your computer for routine setup.
● Local Offline Access: The WAVLINK local admin portal operates entirely within your local network. Accessing (192.168.20.1 or 192.168.30.1) or http://waplogin.link does NOT require an active internet connection.
